Stream Sessions

  • Placemaking & Identity

During these sessions we will examine various project examples and conflicts faced as we start a strategic planning journey and consider possibilities around what NZ could look like in the future. We’ll showcase some of the projects and techniques that may give us key directives to build on as we advance, recognising there are good foundations but in order to progress, we need to adapt - We need to learn from our past and identify what we need to take forward as we set out to create great communities. This includes looking at the importance of placemaking across a range of areas, exploring the challenges and different perspectives we need to integrate into creating future spaces.
